Snezana JANKOVIC Bio-Résumé

Professor Snežana Janković Ph.D., was born on November 10, 1967 in Blace, Serbia. She received her B.S. degree in 1992 at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, Crop production course. She defended her Ph.D. thesis „Genetic effects of mass and individual selection on fertility components of the wheat hybrids of F3, F4 and F5 generations" in 2004 and got Ph.D. degree. In 2016 she became a Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Science Application in Agriculture, Belgrade. That same year she became associate professor at the University of Singidunum, Belgrade. Since 2005 Professor Snežana Janković Ph.D. has been director of the scientific research institution-Institute for Science Application in Agriculture, Belgrade. Since 2015. she has been a vice president of SEASN – South Eastern Europe Advisory Service Network. From the beginning of her career, she participated in the management and implementation of 17 scientific research and other projects financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia, the European Union, the World Bank, FAO, the US Department of Agriculture, etc. Snežana Janković is the author or co-author of 178 research papers, five monographs, four manuals, one wheat cultivar and 20 invited lectures. She was the member of 12 boards of international scientific conferences, the reviewer of the number of scientific papers and one monograph. She was the chairman of 8 domestic and 2 international scientific meetings. Prof. Snežana Jankovic Ph.D. is the member of several commissions, working groups and bodies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection for the adoption of laws and for the preparation of several strategic documents of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the City of Belgrade. She received the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce Award in 2010.
