Marko GUTALJ Bio-Résumé

Marko Gutalj obtained bachelor degree at the Faculty of Forestry of the State Forest-Technical Academy under the name of S. M. Kirov (2005 – 2009), Saint-Petersburg (Russia) with highest possible score. After that, he completed Master course (2009-2011) and PhD school in biological science (scientific field: Silviculture, forestry, forest management and forest inventory) during the period 2011-2015. He worked as practical lecture assistant (2011-2015) at the Faculty of Forestry of the State Forest-Technical Academy. Dr Gutalj leaded scientific research in accordance to department of Forestry’s needs. Researches were focused on preservation and natural regeneration of forests in Northwestern Russia. He conducted researches on exploitation of wood and non-wood forest products for industrial use. Apart from this, under senior professor’s supervision, he delivered lessons to undergraduate and post-graduate students. Also, he took part in preparation of project documentation and plans for participation in research and government grants and cooperated with international scientific institutions. Dr Gutalj published research results in the most prestigious Russian scientific journals and attended many Russian and International scientific conferences. Currently, he is employed at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Eastern Sarajevo and held position of vice-dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of East Sarajevo.
