Oksana FOTINA Bio-Résumé

Oksana V. Fotina is a Foreign Language Professor and Director of the International Relations Center at the Perm State Agro-Technological University named after Academician D.N. Pryanishnikov, Perm, Russia. In the latter position she is responsible for the management of the international affairs of the University and is actively involved in the processes of internationalization taking place throughout all aspects of university life – learning and teaching, science, sport and culture. She organizes, coordinates and promotes University’s international relations and partnerships, manages official protocol, translation and interpretation, staff and students academic mobility services of the University. Oksana Fotina graduated from the Foreign Languages Faculty (German Department) of the Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University. She has a bachelor’s degree in Pedagogics and the Diploma of qualified specialist (Qualification: Philology, Specialization: Teacher of the German and English Languages). Miss Fotina successfully proved the diploma paper on functional grammar “Implicit categories of affirmation/negation in the German verbs”. Currently the field of her interest includes philosophy of education, e-learning and open education, interdisciplinary studies related to rural developement. Miss Fotina has a membership in International Section of the Perm Universities’ Rectors Board, Coordinating Board of the scientific community’s communicational platform of the State Public Gorky Library “Science Center”, International Society of Environmental and Rural Development (www.iserd.net) and is a member of the Editorial Board and translator at the scientific journal “Perm Agrarian Journal” (included into the Higher Attestation Commission list (VAK) of the Russian Federation), is a linguistic editor in the international scientific journal “Eurasian Journal on Soil Science” http://fesss.org/editors_detail.asp?CatId=38, in the international scientific journal “AGROFOR”. Miss Fotina is the author to a number of learning complex guides on English Language, Professional English, Conversational English, Technical English for Applied Computer Science, Information Systems and Technologies, Software Engineering.
