Novo PRZULJ Bio-Résumé

Novo Przulj is full professor on genetics and plant breeding and scientific advisor, currently employed at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Agriculture and University of East Sarajevo, Faculty of Agriculture. He attended various trainings in different countries: USA (several times), Taiwan, Norway, Germany, Mexico. He speaks English and Russian. He is chairman of Commission for varieties registration in Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He worked as scientific advisor and head of Small grain cereals department at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, Novi Sad, Serbia for 13 years (2001-2014), Senior research associate (1994-1999), Research associate (1994-1994). Prof Przulj Is member of ESA, Serbian Genetics Society and Serbian association of plant breeders & seed producers. Member of Editorial board in “Agro-knowledge” journal and AGROFOR International Journal and keynote speaker and participant at various conferences all around the world. His research interest Is related to: Genetics and breeding of small grain cereals; Field crops; Plant physiology; Stress tolerance; Low-input cereals; Grain filling, Dry matter and nitrogen accumulation and translocation; Genetics and physiology of growth and development; Seed science- seed production and processing. He is author of 4 books, 4 monographs, 3 chapters in international book, 30 papers in international journals, 132 papers in national journals, 24 review papers, 60 papers in international proceedings, 11 papers in national proceedings, 42 abstracts; international and national, quotation: about 200 times in international journals, 300 times in national journals, 100 times in master and Ph. D. Thesis. Also, he has 76 barley, oat and rye varieties registered in Serbia and 21 barley and oat varieties registered in foreign countries.
